El-Araby group for trading and industry is a leading family-owned company working in the manufacture and marketing of home and electronic appliances in Egypt and the Middle East. El-Araby has two industrial complexes in Benha and Quesna. The Benha Complex includes three factories and one subsidized manufacturing plant, while the Quesna Complex includes nine factories and three subsidized manufacturing plants.

Al-Araby’s new complex located in the Quesna needed to develop an assembly line for LCD screens. They were considering an automatic assembly line, but didn’t want the huge expense. Al-Safwa introduced Pipex Systems to Al-Araby’s team. Pipex Systems are modular systems that consist of pipes, joints, roller tracks, wheels and many other accessories that provide unmatched design flexibility. Using Al-Safwa Pipex Systems, Al-Araby was able to develop a semi-automatic line with less than half the price of an automatic line.

The finished assembly line was 20 meters, featuring multiple assembly points, dual seating as well as manual roller tracks. Al-Araby group was able to boost productivity and save costs by using Pipex Systems.

Results
